Welcome to our MEMORY LANE web-site. The band is looking forward to the summer.
We'll be playing all of those oldies that were deep in all of our closets. We hope some of those OLDIES will bring back the memories of the days that we all enjoyed. After all, that's what MEMORY LANE is all about. Just trying to get all of you to remember the best times of our lives and maybe, at one of our concerts you might run into a friend that you haven't seen in many years.
So come to our shows and go back in time with us and REMEMBER THOSE OLDIES.

It was worth the drive from Pine Grove to Selingsgrove to hear a wonderful oldies band. There are not many places to go and dance that play the good old 50's and early 60's music. Thanks for keeping the oldies alive and bringing back wonderful memories.

Hi Guyz - I'm a old friend of Barry's and now live down in Fort Yachterdale, Florida. Barry told me about your site earlier today, and it seems your sound clips aren't loading right!
Looking forward to hearing them!
Carl - thanks for your input and sorry for the inconvenience! I am the web designer for this wonderful group and did notice a problem which I reported to our hosting company. I'm happy to report the problem was corrected so you should be able to listen to the music clips now. Thanks! Judy

Hi Carol, it's GREAT to hear from you ! Thank you so much for your wonderful comment.
Those were the days, weren't they. I hope to see you at a few of our Carnivals this summer. It would be Great to not only hear those oldies that you danced to, but talk about those times and wonderful memories.
Thank you again for taking the time to write in to our site.
You sound as good if not better then some of the originals
I don't get any better than that. Thank you so much from the whole band for that wonderful complimemt. Hope to see you at one of our summer concerts.
Sorry everyone for the mix up at Pine View Acres on July 20th. I had to cancel a few dates because of my work schedule. July 20th was not one of them but , management at Pine View thought the 20th was. Sorry for the mix up ( no more cancelations I promise )
See you August 3. GET THOSE DANCIN SHOES ON !!!!!!!!

Just checked your schedule and glad to see lots of near-by shows. Especially hoping it's a dry night this year for the Riverside Fest. I'm long overdue for my shot of 'live' oldies by a great band!
I'm glad to hear from you. Looking forward to seeing you at Riverside :)
Hi, To who ever reads our comments. Memory Lane is NOT playing at Pine View Acres on April 19th. They have a wedding going on that day and can not have any entertainment that evening because the wedding is going on into the evening. Sorry everyone.

What a Great bunch of people. Butch and the Fire Co. members are always hard at work getting all of that Great food ready. So we hope everyone comes to the Carnival hungry and ready for some Oldie Music. See you there !!
Fritz&gang Had a great time at the reunion Sat. Want to thank you for a great nite. loved your music. I don't know where you and Bill get all that energy.
Thanks for the compliment John. We all had a great time as well. I'm glad everybody had a good time and Partied. It was great seeing everybody getting up and dancing. ( Just like the those day that I remember so well.) It brought back a lot of good memories. Don't be a stranger. ( That goes for the whole class.) As they say in Shamokin. " You guys still got it " Good health and good luck to all of you. MY 1964 Class of Coal Township High School.
Enjoyed your show tonight at Northumberland Pineknotter Days!!! Fritz can play a mean saxophone and the vocals were great also!!!

Until we get out web-site up to date, I'd like you to know about Memory Lane playing at The Sunbury Social Club. The date is Nov. 22nd. The time is 8:00 to 11:00. The cost at the door is $13.00 including Beer, wine soda and snacks. It is a fund raiser for the Food pantry of the Sunbury area. Tickets at the door. Come on guys, help us make this a success. It's all up to you. Please show your support. Thank you.
I just want to know why the band times to play are from 9pm to midnight, especially in the winter time? Most of the people start to go home about 10pm. I just thought 8 to 11 pm or even 7 to 10pm would get & keep the people out.
When someone hires the band to play for an event, we play the hours that the club wants us to play. If we run the event we usually have the event running from 8:00 to 11:00. So if we play from 9:00 to 12:00, in MOST cases it isn't the bands doing. Our new Schedule should be out in a few weeks. Keep in touch. Already looking forward to the upcoming summer.
This group belongs on any one of the Doo-Wop shows that is put on by Joe Nardone if anyone knows how to contact him let him know that he is missing one fantastic group !!!! HE SHOULD at least come to Irem Temple hear them !!!
Floyd, Thank you so much for the wonderful compliment. Those words mean so much when you get a compliment from a fellow Musician like yourself. Don't be a stranger my friend.
Heard your band last year at Sunbury fireworks. I remember you from a band called the Casuals back in the 60s. What happened to all those fantastic musicians in that great band? The drummer and you were unbelievable.
You had a few records out than and we thought the band would make it big.
I see you soon either in Northumberland or Mt. Carmel. Love the oldies and your voice.
Hi Louie, Thank you for the Wonderful compliment. And even more. Thank you so much for the MEMORIES. I was just a teenager back then. And that band will Always be the Highlight of my life. That little garage band from Shamokin made a mark in this area that so many people remember as one of the best groups that ever came out of the coal region and I am so proud of being a part of. As far as the other members of the band, they all live in the area and remain as BEST FRIENDS. Louie, I want to thank you from all of The Kasuals for making us feel special today. Please let yourself known when you come to hear Memory Lane this summer. I'd love to meet you and thank you personally from all of the guys as I will tell them of your post to our Memory Lane Web-site.
Great show last nite @Northumberland. You stated that you are playing at Sunbury next week. Can you tell me the location in Sunbury where you are playing?
Hi Ann, We will be at the Sunbury Community Pool area. Look for all the vendors near the YMCA on Fourth Street. Come early and enjoy. We will be starting around 6:30 / 7:00. Bring your lawn chairs and get ready for the best Fireworks you'll see this summer. Hopw to see you there.
Thank you so much for letting my little boy on stage with you it made his and my night
Hey Fritz, you guys were great last eve. Wanted to personally say hi but both of us got tangled up talking to folks when you were on break.
Tell Dilly Cara Mia and his amazing "fermata" were excellent, he was on last night. Liked the Digitech Harmonizer. And as usual, you sounded great too. Liked the matereial.
I am now into Jazz really heavy and will be doing a "single" soon. Vibes, multi percusssion stuff, keys and drums. Have written a great many originals along with re-arranging many oldies into sequences. It's an all different world with DAWs especially in the area of " sound ".
I am sure Bob is into Native Instrument's pianos and B-3s, etc. they are monters. Garritan horns JABB are so real you can't tell the difference between a Big Band or horn section when and their samples are used live.
Music is and always will be the " forte " of my life from D'Kool to present.
Jean and I enjoyed both the band and the fireworks this year. Both were " super ". Tell the guys in the band and Lenny I said hi and enjoyed them. The only folks I got to talk to musically were Dilly and Whitey.
We have just started following the band. It is great to hear music you know the words to and can sing along to. Memory Lane is a GREAT group! Wish we had found your music long ago. Looking forward to following the group. Thanks for making everyone remember when music made you want to sing-a-long and dance.
Another good performance @KVille Carnival. Want to know where the Americus Hose Co. is located. See you there
Hi Ann, The Americus Hose Co. When your going to Sunbury from Shamokin Dam. After crossing the bridge you travel about four blocks on Front St. Fire House is on your right about 1/2 back. Theirs a large parking lot along Front St. and the Fire House is right there. Hope to see you there..
Absolutely loved hearing you. The first time was at the catawissa carnival. Keep up the great work.
Enjoyed your music this year. Where is the Wiconisco Fire Co event? Outdoor or indoor! See you at Riverfest.
Love your music!
I can't wait to see you at The Shamokin Dam Fire Co. on March 26!
Knoebels was great.....but this old Ashland guy is still missing the old guys from the Casuals especialy the drummer and his solos. Are they still alive? If so, what happened to them? You should have a reunion jam at the Mahanoy City gun club if still there or one of the places you played with the old Casuals. You guys were way better than the Jordan Brothers and should have made it big time, Big Lou
Are you playing Good Wil's Restaurant on Oct. 8th? That is on your schedule I picked up in August.
Had a great and wonderful New Years Eve at the Selinsgrove VFW with Memory Lane. The music was great once again and we had a blast. We look forward to spending the evening with you guys when we come out. Vicky has a great time listening and singing with the music. I am sure you can hear her yelling for Billy when he sings her favorite songs. thank you for the fun evenings. Look forward to another year of music with you all. Audrey, Jim and Vicky
